All Inclusive Eco-Tour

The Philosophy

A note from Chris:

Please join me in Nelchina, Alaska for a week of memorable adventures! Each morning we will enjoy a hearty breakfast at 6:30am, discuss expectations for the day, and finalize a game plan that will capitalize on the best weather and what you want to accomplish. Departing by 8am, we will traverse the expanses of Alaska by Super Cub to access the ultimate backcountry adventures with no one around but you and I…and the wildlife, of course! When we are content with the day’s bounty, we will return home to a fresh cooked meal and much needed rest.

Along the way, there will be opportunities to view all big game Alaska has to offer—Dall Sheep, Grizzly & Black bear, Moose, and Caribou. We will also see and visit historic sites—from 1800’s prospecting trails to remnant cabins to famous roadhouses and lodges—we will understand what it meant to be a pioneer in this unforgiving land. If nothing else, it will make us appreciate a hot shower and comfy bed at the end of each day!

Lastly, I understand that not everyone travels solo, but perhaps as a couple. While I can only guide one client at a time, I welcome anyone longing for this adventure to bring a significant other for the stay at no extra cost. You must decide how to proceed with this arrangement. There are different ways to accomplish this, but it is best to call and discuss. For shorter duration trips into the Chugach or similar distance, I can get both clients into the adventure. If you desire longer day trips into the Wrangells or Denali, one person will have to remain at the Lodge for the day.

Your trip will include:

  • 7 Days, 6 Nights

  • Pickup/Drop-off at Anchorage International airport

  • All meals & non-alcoholic beverages

  • Fishing & Boating gear

  • Ideal for solo traveler

  • Max occupancy: 2

    • 2nd guest must split guided time, or remain at Lodge daily

    • Must have enough mobility to enter and egress small aircraft

  • Ideal activities: Sport fishing (Lake Trout, Arctic Grayling, Rainbows, Burbot, Salmon, depending on season), Hiking, Wildlife/Landscape photography, Lake Packrafting, Stand-up Paddleboarding

  • Locations: Wherever the weather allows within the Talkeetnas, Chugach Range, Alaska Range, Wrangell-St Elias National Park/Preserve, Denali Park/Preserve or Prince William Sound

NOTE: All activities are weather and fitness-dependent. No adventures are guaranteed and experiences may not be able to be re-created. While I endeavor to customize the excursions for every individual, there are no guarantees.

NOT INCLUDED: Personal expenses and purchases, gratuities, alcohol (available for self-purchase in town).

$12,500 (Single or Double occupancy)
