Snowshoe Lake is situated in Southcentral Alaska, approximately 150 miles Northeast of Anchorage. It can be accessed by the following means:

  • Road System - Approx. 3 hr scenic drive from ANC International through the Matanuska River Valley

  • Float Plane - Lake is 1nm x 0.5nm; 100LL & Unleaded available with prior coordination

Lying interior to the coastal mountain ranges, Snowshoe Lake enjoys many dry and sunny days. The flying is extraordinary and one is afforded the opportunity to explore the following Alaskan treasures within 1 hour:
